How much does it cost?

Nothing - all our services are free of charge

Will I lose any benefits I am
receiving whilst I am at the hospice?

No, as we make no charges, your benefits will remain unchanged.

How long can a respite patient stay for?

1 - 2 weeks are usually offered, however the length of stay is always planned with the patient and the family on a needs met basis.

What are the visiting hours?

There are no restrictions on visiting but we do ask that visitors avoid the lunch time period. It is always best to telephone in first as there are occasions when patients may need to rest and not be disturbed.

What about my spiritual needs?

Beaumond House has a team of dedicated chaplains representing many denominations.

Do I have to share a room?

No, all rooms are for single occupancy, three of which have ensuite facilities.
