Beaumond House Community Hospice is a registered charity that has been committed to providing supportive palliative care to patients with life limiting or terminal illnesses and their families living in Newark & district, since 1987.
Each year we provide care for over 400 patients and support to their families, caring for around 100 patients at any one time. All of our care is provided at no cost to the patient or their family.
We have 4 beds for short-term respite care, 11 day-care places each week day and provide care in the community to care for our patients. Our Resource & Information Centre based in Newark town centre provides information and advice to patients, family and carers.
70% of our patients suffer from cancer, whilst we support patients with life-limiting illnesses such as Parkinson's disease, Motor Neurone disease and Multiple Sclerosis.
