Christmas Lunch for a Patient - £6

Pay for a Christmas Dinner this year, but give it to someone who will be celebrating Christmas with us in the Hospice. For just £6, a patient can enjoy turkey and all the trimmings during the Christmas season.

One hour of Community Care - £12

Some patients prefer to remain within their own familiar surroundings at home, and our care manager can arrange community care using our trained care assistants in conjunction with other agencies. To just one patient, the gift of a care assistant providing support in their own home means so much

Art and craft materials - £15

£15 will allow us to purchase art and craft materials to be used by our daycare patients. Craft sessions are really popular with our patients and so a contribution towards these costs will be really well used.

Aromatherapy Oils - £18

Aromatherapy is the soothing, natural way to achieve a real sense of well-being using essential oils which are carefully selected by our practitioner. Your gift of £18 will only buy one bottle of essential oil, but it will benefit many patients as they last several weeks.

In house compulsory training for our staff - £20

£20 will pay towards the in-house training of our staff. Our staff at Beaumond House are trained regularly to keep up with the latest care standards, palliative care guidelines, food hygiene and fire safety to name but a few! Your gift will ensure that Beaumond House remains a safe place for our patients to stay with the highest standards of care

A massage for a patient - £25

Therapeutic massage is widely recognised as a means of helping us all to maintain positive health. We provide massage treatments tailored to each individual patients needs, whether it be to improve joint mobility, relieve aches and pains or to provide a general sense of well being. Your gift of £25 will treat a patient to a much needed massage.

One day of day care for a patient - £36

Our day care services operate Monday to Friday within a warm and caring atmosphere, offering activities, outings, friendship, personal care, refreshments and a home cooked lunch. We have 9 day care places per day, for £36 your gift will provide one patient with a day’s day care.

A day trip for our daycare patients - £60

Treat all nine of our daycare patients to a day out. Whether it be a visit to Lincoln Cathedral or a boat trip down the river, they are always very enthusiastic about our days out and your gift will be most appreciated.

One night of respite care - £110

Beaumond House has four bedrooms equipped for the comfort and wellbeing of patients who need short term respite care. This often enables carers to have a well deserved rest. Every effort is made to meet the individual needs of parents, carers and family. An average respite period is 1 – 2 weeks. For £110 your gift will provide one night of respite care for a patient and their family

To provide nursing care for a patient for 1 week - £500

Our highly skilled nursing staff are invaluable to the running of the hospice. They provide essential care and support to patients and family alike. Your generous gift of £500 will pay for one patient to receive the highest quality nursing care for a whole week.

A carers day - £1500

Every two months we hold a carers day. On these days we spend the day pampering those who care for their sick relatives on a full time basis. It gives them a well deserved break and an opportunity to share their experiences with other carers as well as receive support and advice from our staff. We can cater for 9 carers that day, so your gift will benefit 9 very special people
