Volunteers in Day Care
Our other volunteers who
enjoy social interaction and generally helping people, work with our
Day Care Co-ordinator ensuring that the day patients enjoy their
time with us. We often have activities or outings and the days are
complemented with a freshly prepared lunch and afternoon tea at 3,
complete with cream cakes! If this interests you, contact our
Support Services Manager for further information.
Volunteers in the shops
Beaumond House has 2 charity shops, one in Southwell and one in
Newark. Volunteers work there at the counter and behind the scenes,
helping us to raise a very valuable amount towards our running
costs. If you would be interested in helping, please contact our
Shop Supervisors at 01636 816668 for Southwell shop or 01636 705285
for Newark.
If you would like to give to our shops – we like good quality
clothing, bric a brac, pictures etc, - please take it directly to
them. Their opening hours are 9.30am to 4pm. Monday to Saturday.
They always appreciate a telephone call beforehand if possible.
