Challenge yourself to complete this Snowdon challenge with Travel & Trek consisting of 3 phases (this is not a race!)

Location: Snowdonia
Meet @ the base camp @ 0730hrs for an 0800hrs start.

Bacon roll and coffee on arrival!
Length of the Snowdon Challenge – approx 10 hrs

Included:

  • Bikes and helmets.

  • Feeding stations, primarily fluids, snacks between each phase.

  • Qualified instructors leading each phase.

  • Canoes, paddles, and safety equipment on the water.

  • Transfer from the finish (after canoeing) back to base camp (where your vehicles are parked).

  • Transfer of kit from phase to phase (changeover from bike to walk, and walk to canoe).

  • Free car parking at base camp (the start).

  • Washing facilities post-challenge, if required.

  • Cycle – out from the start into the beautiful forest for approx 1 hr ride. It is primarily off-road.

  • Climb – switch to your feet for the ascent of Mt Snowdon (ascend the isolated Rhyd Ddu route, descend the Watkins route).

  • Canoe – finish off by paddling a circuit of the tranquil and beautiful Llyn Dinas.

The transitions between each phase of this Snowdon Challenge roll from one to another (no vehicle transfers).

Your kit will be there for you to change into + a snack/fluid ‘refueling station’ to keep the much-needed energy levels going.

You will be led all the way by qualified leaders (local), so they know the ground. General Conditions.

Whilst all are welcome in any numbers, teams of 3 are actively encouraged (per charity) for encouragement and support, but it is not mandatory.

Accommodation – due to the variety of accommodation available (camping, B&B’s and hotels), no accommodation is included. Camping is available at base camp (very convenient!), or we can advise you on alternatives.

Invite your friends to join you on this challenge here!
