This is the 4th year we have run this amazingly well received Be Bright Blue campaign in our Community. The income you helped to raise in the first 2 years went directly to support patients and their families in our care. Last year with your support we bought electronic profiling hospital Beds.
We know that some people, especially young adults, feel that our Hospice is a little dated and so they have put off coming here. We want every single person, irrespective of background, religion or age, who walks through our doors to feel welcome and that Beaumond House is the right place for them. One of our priorities is to carry out some work to ensure we achieve this.
If we reach our target we will be able to refurbish a number of patient areas, upstairs and downstairs, in Beaumond House. We can create a vibrant environment, meet the standards set down by Infection Control as well as our own very high standards and create a much better space for everyone who comes. Patients are at the centre of all we do at Beaumond House and we want to Be the Best we can Be - for everyone.
I have worked at Beaumond House for 4 years and during this time I have been continually astounded by the support of our local community and its response to our appeals and requests for support. Please can I call on that incredible spirit once again now not only to help us raise this huge target but also to ask you to support us in a way which will not cost you a penny – my ask is for a one off gift of your time – just 2 hours.
This year to help us meet this huge challenge, we have arranged a number of bag packs involving lots of supermarkets in the town. Please call Cathryn for details of how to get involved. We have lots of times and dates to choose just 2 hour slots from and really value your support.
Having bag packed myself several times, I know that this is great fun, you can bring a friend or two or even a family member and come and help us towards our massive target!!! If you would like to help, please contact me using the details below.
