Today we are launching our biggest ever appeal in Beaumond House's 32 year history.
The loss of fundraised income from community events, our shops, donations and companies is likely to be in the region of £300,000 over the next six months, it could be even be more.
We urgently need to fill the gap to ensure that we can be here for at least the next 32 years. So we are turning to you, our local community, to help us #fillthegapBH.
Despite the fall in income Beaumond House cannot close. Our services supporting people from this community with life limiting conditions must go on and we need additional support to #fillthegapBH.
Without your support, patient choice for end of life care will be affected. Beaumond House Hospice helps avoid unnecessary hospital admission, offers a place of care where symptoms can be managed in a place close to home, and offers a setting for patients to die in a place of their choosing. Our in-patient beds and Hospice at Home service support patients at the most difficult time when the right care can make all the difference to having a good death.
Over the next few weeks we hope to bring you ideas about how you can help us to #fillthegapBH and we will also share how you can fill the gap in your own lives. We would love you to send us videos and pictures that you are happy for us to post and look forward to seeing your ideas too.
