Donations to our Southwell Shop

We are temporarily unable to take shop donations in to Easthorpe Old School Hall.

A huge thank you to everyone who has supported us with donations but due to overwhelming generosity we are now completely full.

We will therefore be unable to take any donations for the time being.

We will review this on a weekly basis and re-open as soon as we possibly can.

We really appreciate your support and understanding at this difficult time.

Thank you

As part of our planned re-opening of Southwell Shop we are pleased to announce that we will temporarily be accepting donations at an alternative local site.

Please note we will not be taking donations through our shops when they re-open until we believe it is safe and viable for us to do so

We will shortly start taking donations in to Easthorpe Old School Hall which is located in Bramley Close, Southwell.

We thank you in advance for your generosity but in order to keep everyone safe we must adhere to the following plan:

  • We will start taking donations on Monday 6th July

  • We will be open for donations on Monday and Thursday only to allow us to isolate these donations for 72 hours in line with current guidance.

  • We will be open for donations between 10 am and 2 pm on Monday and Thursday only.

  • Please do not leave donations at this site at any time other than those detailed above.

  • Please think carefully about what you are donating as disposal of unsuitable or unsaleable items is very expensive and time consuming for our charity particularly in these difficult times.

  • We cannot accept donations of nursery goods, foodstuff, safety equipment (helmets/child car seats) or furniture.

  • We also cannot accept donations of books, shoes or electrical items at the current time.

If you are in any doubt about the suitability of what you are donating or need any advice please give us a call first (01636 610556)

  • When you arrive with your donations please be patient as you may need to wait your turn.

  • We will offer assistance with unloading if needed but compliance with social distancing must be observed at all times.

  • Please ensure you keep to an appropriate social distance from our staff/volunteers and other donors.

  • We will direct you to a specific area for dropping off your donations and it is important goods are not dropped anywhere else in line with our need to isolate donations for 72 hours before processing.

We thank you again for your generosity and appreciate your support and compliance with our plan which is designed to keep everyone safe.

Please note that donations should not be left outside our shops at any time.

We will extend our opening hours at Easthorpe Old School Hall to cope with volume of donations if necessary but will not be taking any donations through our shops at this time.

Please help us to keep everyone safe by dropping donations off to us at Easthorpe Old School Hall during published opening times only.

Thank you.
