Matt Colbourne, Community & Events Fundraiser at Beaumond House says “Each year, Beaumond House must raise over one million pounds to continue offering the free and vital services available to residents across Newark & Sherwood. Our in-house events are just one of the many ways that we fundraise, and we try to make these events as fun, attractive and accessible to all as possible. If you’re looking for something to do with the family on Good Friday and you fancy helping to raise funds for a good cause at the same time, then we’d love to see you in the Market Place from 10am.”
The event is being sponsored by Pratt & Gelsthorpe, Newark. Managing Director, Richard Gelsthorpe, says “We have a long-standing history of supporting the outstanding work that Beaumond House do and we’re proud to sponsor this event. As a local independent business, we’re keen to see events take place which bring both residents and visitors right into the heart of the town.”
