Providing care and support to patients and their families costs Beaumond House around £1.7million every year. This means that around £1.2million of this needs to be raised through donations, our shops, and local businesses throughout Newark and Sherwood.
This year, Beaumond House will receive £531,000 towards the cost of delivering our in-patient, day therapy and wellbeing service and hospice at home commissioned through the End of Life Together Alliance (funded from the Integrated Care System), which contributes to our overall operating costs.
We raise money from a variety of sources, running many campaigns, challenges and events throughout the year.
We are exceptionally grateful to all that choose to volunteer and donate on behalf of Beaumond House.
Without these people and the incredible generosity of the local community, we could not continue to provide the care that we do.

Did you know...
£1.50 will pay for pre lunch drink
£1.20 will pay for two snacks for one patient
£2 could pay for Afternoon tea and cake for one patient
£3 can pay for for a memory box to put treasured items in
£6.30 could pay for a weeks’ worth of Newspaper provision for hospice patients
£14 can pay for one hour of bereavement support
£15 will pay for a day-therapy patient to have a home cooked three course lunch, nutritious snacks, teas and coffee during their day with us.
£36 covers the cost of a Health Care Assistant to plan, coordinate and run our day-hospice activities
£100 could pay for 6 hours of inpatient care.
Many, many thanks for looking after mum so well during her short stay. She looked really well on her return home.
