Wing Walk for Beaumond House
Saturday 23rd July 2022 - Wickenby
Fly across the fields of Lincolnshire as you take on a Wing Walk for Beaumond House Hospice Care.
Are you brave enough to climb aboard for the ultimate thrill-seeker experience?
You could take to the skies on the wing of an authentic Boeing Stearman Biplane and enjoy an exhilarating 10-minute flight of flypasts, climbs, and dives - All while raising crucial funds for Beaumond House.
The team at Wickenby ensures sure you’re in safe hands before you take off. Every Wing Walker receives a safety briefing and training for breathing techniques and hand signals.
Your Fundraising Goal
Self-funded – Pay a one-off fee of £340* to take part in our Wing Walk. Ideal for someone doing multiple fundraising activities in a year.
Fully fundraised – Your mission is to raise £700* for Beaumond House Hospice Care. This is the minimum sponsorship required to take part in this event.
All funds are required two weeks prior to your Wing Walk.
How your Wing Walk supports Beaumond House Hospice Care
Our services support people like Mick in Newark and the surrounding areas, with compassionate, skilled, professional, and personalised nursing care.
“I have had it said to me many times that Beaumond House is a place to die. It is so much more than that.
I have been lucky enough to experience all aspects of this beautiful place and death is by no means a prominent feature. In fact, the reverse is true…”
