about us

Funeral collection in lieu of flowers

If your loved one has requested that a collection is made at their funeral, or if you feel that it is what they would have wanted, you can set up an online funeral notice.

Whilst it’s traditional to give flowers at a funeral, more and more people are choosing to commemorate the life of a loved one by donating to a charity that meant a lot to them.

We can provide donation envelopes for the funeral service and can send them either directly to you, to pass on to relatives, friends and colleagues, or we can post them to the funeral director so they will be available at the funeral or memorial service. The envelopes also give the donor the opportunity to sign for Gift Aid which generates an extra 25p in every pound on the gift. You can also request collection envelopes if family and friends wish to make private donations.

Your funeral director may be able to organise the funeral notice and donation envelopes on your behalf, just let them know that you would like to support Beaumond House. Alternatively, please contact our Individual Giving Fundraising Manager, Andrea Ward on 01636 610556 or email here

When all donations have been received, we will thank you and inform you of the total amount given in memory of your loved one.
