Beaumond House Community Hospice are taking part in Hospice Care Week, a national event to raise the profile of hospice care.

There are more than 200 hospices across the UK providing inpatient and home support for people and their families.
During the week more than 800 cups of tea and coffee are made for patients and families as well as the staff team.
A nurse and health care assistant at the hospice can cover six miles on a shift and still go home smiling.
Each week the hospice welcomes more than 450 visitors through the Blue door, each greeted with a warm smile and friendly word
Beaumond house has one of the largest volunteer teams in the Newark area. Over 150 people volunteer and give their time to help with admin, in day therapy through to driving and fundraising.
We are proud to have a wonderfully clean hospice thanks to the house keeping team who provide 51 hours a week to maintain high standards
