Role Purpose

The purpose of the role is to assist with the sorting, processing, rotation and merchandising of stock, display and sales, including using the till, registering donors for Gift Aid and processing their donations, assisting with cleaning and maintaining a safe working environment and working as part of a dynamic team.
The role also includes working to maximise profits and to always promote the work of Beaumond House Hospice Care. This will be done in a manner which reflects the ethos of Beaumond House Hospice Care and always promotes good public relations for the Hospice.

Volunteer Coordinator

Beaumond House Hospice Care, Newark
Role Purpose
As volunteer coordinator, your role will be to build relationships in the community and with other organisations to help us reach people who might be interested in volunteering with us.
You’ll also work with leaders and teams across Beaumond House in the recruitment, training, and placement of volunteers in different departments.
You will be responsible for the ongoing coordination of volunteers helping them to enjoy their time with us and get the most from their volunteering experience.

Bank Retail Assistant

Flexible cover across all our Beaumond House Charity Shops, in Newark and surrounding areas

The purpose of the role is to help deliver cross-store cover for planned shifts and unplanned absence (annual leave, sickness) to sustain sales and service. This includes assisting with the sorting, processing, rotation and merchandising of stock, display and sales, including using the till, registering donors for Gift Aid and processing their donations, support with cleaning and maintaining a safe working environment and working as part of a dynamic team.
The role also includes working to maximise profits and to always promote the work of Beaumond House Hospice Care.
