Care Assistant - Hospice at Home, Mansfield
Part-Time- multiple contracted hour options available (approximately 25–35 hours per week).

Based in Mansfield with travel across North Nottinghamshire to meet organisational needs
Role Purpose
We are expanding our Hospice at Home service and are seeking compassionate, committed people to join our growing team. This role offers the opportunity to support patients and families in their own homes as the service extends across North Nottinghamshire.
The Hospice at Home service provides care for palliative patients seven days a week, from 7am to 9pm. Shifts include a mix of shorter shifts and 12-hour shifts.
To provide individual high-quality care for patients in their own homes, including appropriate support for families, in line with hospice policy and agreed care plans. Care may include supporting patients while symptoms are assessed and brought under control, caring for the dying, supportive psychosocial and spiritual care in line with any agreed plan, enabling patients’ independence and supporting discharge home.
Working under the direction of a registered nurse and as part of the Beaumond House team and the End-of-Life Care Together Integrated Hub you will help maintain the standard of excellence, so the philosophy and values of Beaumond House Hospice Care are met.
We offer a range of established part time contracts of 25.5, 26.25, 27, 27.75, 28.75, 30.12, 30.54, 30.62, and 34.5 hours per week. Applicants should state their preferred contracted hours as part of the application process.

Community and Engagement Lead
Full Time - 37.5 hours per week
£30,147 per annum (£15.46 per hour)
Hybrid - Beaumond House Hospice and remote working
Role Purpose
The Community Engagement Lead is a key role within the Fundraising Team at Beaumond House Hospice Care and representative of the charity within local communities. You will build strong relationships with individuals, community groups, local authorities, and businesses. Inspiring them to support the hospice in their own way and to engage in Hospice‑led events, activities and appeals.
Reporting to the Head of Fundraising, you will plan, deliver and develop a programme of community‑focused activities that engage local audiences, increase understanding of our impact, and inspire people to get involved in ways that make a meaningful difference to patients, their families and loved ones.
You will develop strong, long‑lasting relationships with supporters, providing informed guidance and encouragement throughout their fundraising journey. With a warm and supporter‑centred approach, you will motivate participants and ensure every interaction reflects the Hospice’s values, delivers an exceptional standard of care, and contributes to maximising income generation.
Role Outcomes

Deliver a community engagement programme that inspires and delivers measurable engagement with individuals, supporters and community members.

Develop and steward long-term relationships with supporters, understanding their stories and motivation for supporting the hospice.

Challenges and Events Lead

The Challenges and Events Lead is an exciting, key role within the Fundraising Team at Beaumond House Hospice.
You will use your experience, creativity, and networks to inspire individuals, community groups and businesses to take part in events and challenges to raise awareness and generate income.
You will develop strong, long‑lasting relationships with supporters, providing informed guidance and encouragement throughout their fundraising journey. With a warm and supporter‑centred approach, you will motivate participants and ensure every interaction reflects the Hospice’s values, delivers an exceptional standard of care, and contributes to maximising income generation.
Role Outcomes
