The following events are being held in aid of or supporting Beaumond House. Thank You!
Join us for a very special celebration as In-Memory fundraiser, Les Reid marks his milestone 80th birthday — and turns it into another wonderful opportunity to raise funds for charity!
This year, Les has teamed up with local singer-songwriter James Manners to create an unforgettable afternoon of live music and poetry at one of Newark’s favourite town centre venues. Alongside Les, a fantastic lineup of talented musicians from our local open mic scene will be taking to the stage, each bringing their own unique style and something special to the occasion.
The celebration takes place on Saturday 11th July 2026 at The Navigation, Newark, a much-loved venue known for its regular Open Mic Nights. With a packed programme and live performances starting from 12:00 noon, there’ll be plenty to enjoy throughout the afternoon.
Thanks to the generous support of James Manners, The Navigation, Newark, and all of the musicians donating their time and talent free of charge, every penny raised will go to support Beaumond House.
Everyone is welcome — come along, enjoy a great afternoon of music and poetry, support a wonderful cause, and help us celebrate Les turning 80 in style!
