We’re proud to support Hospice Care Week from 6th - 12th October.
This year’s theme is ‘more than you think’.
From home visits to heartfelt moments, our teams bring comfort beyond the hospice walls and this week we share the impact of hospice care in our community.
When people hear “hospice,” they often think of pain management and medical support. And while that’s certainly part of the story, it’s far from the whole picture.
At Beaumond House, hospice care means living fully, loving deeply, and celebrating every moment. It’s about nurturing the emotional, social, spiritual, and practical needs of each person—and extending that care to their loved ones too.

Did you know? Hospice teams made over 1.4 million visits across the UK last year, bringing compassionate care into people’s homes.
In A Day in the Life… Helen Greenwood walks us through a day with Beaumond House’s Hospice at Home team. The early starts, the emotional moments, and the compassion behind every visit
We are delighted to invite you to the very first of our new monthly Coffee Mornings at Beaumond House Hospice.
The events are a chance to pop in, enjoy a cup of tea or coffee, and discover more about how your local hospice can support you and your loved ones
