County Council Chairman honours Hospice hero

Mrs Shelia Drummond is the latest person to receive a surprise Community Hero award from the chairwoman of Nottinghamshire County Council, Mrs Sue Saddington as a special thank-you for her dedication.

The awards are chosen by the Chairwoman and presented to people who have gone the extra mile for a neighbour, an organisation or a local community in many different ways. They celebrate their contribution to help make Nottinghamshire a great place to live.

Debbie Abrams CEO said at the ceremony that “All Beaumond House Volunteers are worthy of an award because they do such a tremendous job and I would like to give everyone a special thank you"
