Free Festive Fun at Winter Wonderland this Saturday

Updated: Apr 30

This Saturday sees the anticipated arrival of the Beaumond House Winter Wonderland event.

Taking place at the hospice on 32 London Road, Newark between 10.00am – 4.00pm, the event promises a variety of family festive fun including free biscuit decorating, Christmas card bauble making, meet the alpacas, a variety of stalls, games, and chances to win some fantastic prizes. Goodies, face painting, free duck racing, live music, free complementary therapy sessions and more.

To keep you warm there will be turkey cobs, festive tray bakes, hot drinks, and mulled wine available.

The hospice advise pre-booking your time-slot here.

Winter Wonderland is one of the events forming part of the hospice’s Be Bright Blue 3-month campaign, which addresses the feelings of isolation and loneliness following a terminal diagnosis.

If you haven’t already, there will be the last chance to get your tickets to ‘Winner, Winner, Christmas dinner’ in the Beaumond House Christmas raffle.

The staff at Beaumond House is dedicated to extending a warm welcome to all visitors. They are readily available to offer support and guidance, and answer any enquries you may have regarding care for yourself or your loved ones as well as opportunities for employment or volunteering.

The festivities can be continued at the Christmas Carol service with JustSing Newark taking place in the hospice grounds from 5.00pm.

Beaumond House would like to thank Pratt & Gelsthorpe, Newark, who are supporting the event.

As well as coming along to the Winter Wonderland event, there are many ways individuals, businesses, schools, and retailers can support the campaign.
