Lisa is taking part in the Zip Wire in memory of her wonderful mum, Tracey.
Tracey attended Beaumond House as a day care patient, and later received the most incredible care, comfort, and dignity as an In-patient during her final days.
Lisa said
"The team not only supported my Mum, but also looked after us as a family when we needed it most. Their kindness, compassion, and dedication made an incredibly difficult time a little easier, and I’ll always be grateful for the love they showed Mum."
Tracey was a keen runner of Newark Athletics Club in her younger years and one of her greatest achievements was running the Great North Run! Lisa added
"Mum was my biggest supporter as I was hers. I took on this challenge because I’m absolutely petrified of heights and what a way to get over my fears and honour my mum.
By raising funds, I hope to give something back so that other families can receive the same support we did. Every donation, no matter how small, will help Beaumond House continue their amazing work for people who need it most."
Thank you Lisa - we are so grateful for your support and can't wait to see you on the day.
