Beaumond House is calling upon local retailers, businesses and organisations to support its Be Bright Blue campaign from Saturday 13th to Sunday 21st January, by decorating their window blue using blue bunting, lights or by using their own merchandise. The hospice can also provide posters for you to display and social media graphics to show you are supporting the campaign.
Be Bright Blue is a three-month campaign running until the end of January 2024. The aim of the campaign is to raise awareness of the work that Beaumond House does to combat the ‘Loneliness of Diagnosis’.
Retailers and local businesses can also show their support by displaying a collection bottle or Pocket Hugs; small, crocheted hearts on a branded card and presented in a branded countertop box, sold for a suggested donation.
Blue Monday, on 15th January, is an annual day that is often regarded as the most depressing day of the year. Blue Monday is associated with feelings of sadness, low motivation, and a lack of energy. Beaumond House hopes to turn the town bright blue to raise awareness and show support - can you help them?
Beaumond House would like to thank the following retailers who will be turning ‘bright blue’, Flossie & Boo, Jane Young, Y&S Men’s Wear, Shirt Sleeves, Vintage Vixen, New Mode Boutique, Number One Antiques, Village Chique, Gilles & Bella, Oxygen, Masdings, Newark Art, Hobson& Co, Honeytrap, The Curtain Mill, Déjà Vu Dress agency, Vinyl Attraction, The Scented Home, K&H, Curtain Mill, Whistlers Chemist, Estillo Ladieswear, Y&S Ladieswear and Petit Versailles.
The hospice is incredibly grateful for the support of the local community. Just as in previous years, there are many ways for individuals, businesses, and retailers to get involved and have some fun while supporting this important campaign.
