Dale, my fabulous husband, originally got his place in the London Marathon through Notfast running club in Newark, rather than through a charity.
Beaumond House has always had a special place in our hearts as the fabulous staff have looked after my Grandad, close family friend Jane and most recently, our one-of-a-kind, vivacious Auntie Liz. Sadly, Auntie Liz passed away over Easter, but the marathon gave us an amazing opportunity to raise money and give back to the hospice.
My Uncle and wider family could not speak more highly of the exceptional care Beaumond House were able to offer Auntie Liz. Raising over £1000 in 48hours kept Dale going on such a hot day as he completed the marathon in four hours and 40 minutes.
We hope that this helps to show our gratitude for the angels you employ. Many thanks to family, friends and colleagues who have sponsored.
