Beaumond House Hospice Care have been delighted with the response of the corporate heart campaign, in which local businesses can purchase a blue heart to support the hospice.
The hospice would like to thank the following local companies for purchasing a heart; Newgate, Barcode Warehouse, Abbotts, Howdens, St Gobain, Derry Ltd, Motorfinity, RWE, Ellis Mather, Ambitions, P&G, London Eye and APT Legal.
The money donated from the hearts will be spent in this local area to support local people.
There are now a limited number of hearts available. Companies can purchase a heart from £250; the amount that it costs to cover a day therapy patient to come to the hospice once a week for three weeks; £500 pays for two days care for a patient in Beaumond House; £1,000 is enough for a patient to remain in their home helped by Hospice at Home.
The campaign has been kindly supported by Motorfinity, who are the official campaign sponsor.
Dean Skiba, chief operating officer at Motorfinity said; “As a company, Motorfinity has, and always will, hold charity right at the heart of our business. It is what we do: We always try our utmost to support both national and local charities".
The hearts connect you directly to the love and support which Beaumond House gives to the community day and night. The hearts are made by local crafts people using different materials and are 20cm in height and a similar size in width, something that can be easily put on your reception to show your love for Beaumond House and support for the campaign.
