Thanks to the generosity of supporters like you, Beaumond House secured an amazing £11,403.75 (including Gift Aid) in the Big Give Christmas Challenge last year.
The 2023 campaign has been submitted and we need your help to raise even more vital funds for your local hospice.
The project ‘The Loneliness of Diagnosis’ highlights the feelings that many of our patients and their carers and family members face. A terminal diagnosis for many causes friends to disappear, doors close, seclusion and solitude set in.
With your help, we want to raise £12,500 in just one week, to help combat loneliness in patients and their carers and family members by providing a range of services encouraging interaction, socialisation, and connection.
This funding will enable us to provide our free Day Therapy service, provide transport, activities, and a nutritious home-cooked meal five days a week through the winter months. The provision extends to carers and family members through support groups and Wellbeing services.
