Trusts & Funds
We are extremely grateful for the support of Trusts and Foundations whose support makes a considerable impact upon our patients and staff.
Beaumond House Hospice Care would be unable to carry out its wholly patient-centred work without your generous contributions.
Here are some of the ways Trusts and Foundations are central to the life of our hospice.
The Hospice
Not only are capital and core costs essential to our stability, but towards meeting small and large improvement projects that increases patient safety and comfort.
In-Patient Care
Grants mean that we can go the extra mile. We’re rooted in compassionate, professional, personalised nursing care for those with active, progressive and advanced conditions.
Hospice at Home
We attend hundreds more patients in the community. Reaching all those who ask for our nurses in the area of Newark and Sherwood enables patients to receive treatment at home.
Medical Equipment
It’s impossible to carry out our work without, specific, crucial pieces of equipment. We welcome all Trusts willing to grant funds that will support patient quality of life.
Wellbeing
Complementary therapies such as massage, aromatherapy and Reiki are a proven way that we can relieve pain, anxiety and distress and improve how patients feel about themselves.
Nutrition
What goes on in in the kitchen is more than just providing good food. Mealtimes are a source of therapy at the hospice. Funding is also needed to update our equipment.
Carbon Footprint
Reducing our impact upon the environment is something we are wholly committed to and ask for your help in making essential in-roads towards our goals.
Unrestricted Funds
When we receive funds that aren’t tied to a specific purpose, it enables us to develop new services or to direct the money to where we know there is real need.
Information & Support
Our patients and their families can call upon us for money advice, support and health information. We also provide bereavement counselling to families and friends.
